La banda sonora de un lunes cualquiera

Si ayer todo se teñía de blanco y de negro, hoy sin más explicación, la luz rebota contra la tristeza y despliega, para mi, un millón de colores que se mezclan en brillos imposibles que solapan los malos augurios del pasado. Hoy todo parace más bonito. Y todo por un pequeño detalle que hace que hasta el corazón más solitario tenga compasión y levante la vista al cielo. Porque merece la pena. De verdad que si.

Una canción, que hace que se me pongan los pelos de punta, y que por mucho que la escuche consigue emocionarme una y otra vez. Es un clásico en la banda sonora de mi vida, y como tal, vuelve a sonar fuerte y a ser número uno en este lunes de marzo, para decirme al oído que algo se puede hacer todavía y que no todo está perdido.

Como nota explicativa, diré que "We are the world" es una extraordinaria canción escrita por Michael Jackson y Lionel Richie en 1985, producida por Quincy Jones y grabada por un gran grupo de músicos famosos formado especialmente para la ocasión que se denominó Usa for Africa (United Support of Artists for Africa). La grabación de la canción se realizó el 28 de enero de 1985 y fue publicada el 7 de marzo del mismo año por el sello Columbia Records. Los beneficios obtenidos por la canción fueron donados a una campaña humanitaria para intentar acabar con la tremenda hambruna que en asolaba a Etiopía en aquellos años.

Entre aquel gran repertorio de grandes voces de la música se encontraban nombres como los de Ray Charles, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Cyndi Lauper o Diana Ross.

Un canto a la vida que pone música y letra a esos momentos en los que hace falta un empujón más para seguir adelante. ¡Que la disfrutéis!
